When established in 1996, Conflict Dynamics chose the indigenous Combretum seed as the logo. The multifaceted texture and appearance of this beautiful seed resonates with some of the features of relationships and conflict. Relationships, like seeds, are complex and need nurturing to grow and develop. Conflict is dynamic, can spiral and roots itself like seeds do when blown through the bush. The Conflict Dynamics newsletter is called IMBEWU, the Nguni word for seed.
